As Lapischem, one of our main priority is to comply with international regulations within the context of responsible production and responsible consumption principle. We’ve developed our procedures and completed our REACH registration process in order to provide zinc sulphate products to European region.

REACH is the acronym of the words; Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals”. In order to provide chemical products to countries and markets that are in the European Union, companies must comply with the regulation no 1907/2006 of European Union and Council. The REACH regulation which is valid since 2007, aims to decrease human health and environmental risk factors caused by chemicals and improve conditions.

According to REACH, products produced in Europe or exported in Europe for more than 1 ton / year must be registered.

The registration certificate or document is also known as  REACH certificate or REACH Compliance Certificate. This certificate also proves that your product does not contain restricted or limited materials or the material in the product does not exceed limits.

The main focus of REACH certification is to protect human health and environment. Thus it has a major role to eliminate health and environmental risks caused by chemicals.

REACH certification;

  • Creates awareness and protects from undesired effects on human and environment
  • Guides chemical production or import/export trading companies about possible dangers.
  • Gives responsibility to the related people about the necessary precautions.
  • Provides easy access of chemicals.
  • Increases competition, sensitive to human and environment.
  • Improves innovative applications in order to minimize harmless effects of chemicals.
  • Encourages to develop alternative methods to determine harmless properties of chemicals.
